Doug and Taylor

Associate Pastor

A native of central Texas, Doug has spent most of his life in and around Temple and Waco. The oldest of eight siblings in a homeschooled, musical family, he studied cello performance at Baylor University and then transferred to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to pursue a degree in Church Music. Doug graduated from Mary Hardin-Baylor and married the love of his life, Taylor, in 2015. Taylor is a music educator, and spends most of her free time picking up after Doug at their home in Pflugerville.

Favorite Passages:

John 15:15-17

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD e with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths f straight.
