A Year Through the New Testament

I read today that, "The most important skill for 2014 is deciding what you will pay attention to." In an age where we are absolutely overwhelmed with things vying for our attention, we each need to decide...

  • What will we give our attention to?
  • Who's voice will we listen to?
  • What will we put on our schedule as an uninterruptible event?
  • What relationship matters the most?

As we begin 2014, may I just challenge you to make "God" the answer to all of those questions? As a church we are going to read through the New Testament together (see attachments for reading plan). I truly believe that nothing is more significant than time with God and nothing has the potential to change your life for the better than meeting with Him.

Will you join me in the Scriptures this year? We will be writing a daily blog on our thoughts and reflections as a way to encourage and instruct you in your own time in the Word. As your Pastor, I cannot think of anything better to give you for the brand new year than a brand new start with Jesus. Tomorrow is a new year, a new beginning, a new chance to make all things new.
