Day 3 - Wednesday June 17th: Brokenness of the City

“Seek the welfare of the city I have sent you in exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf” Jeremiah 29:7

The Lords Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever.

Today:

Pray the Lords Prayer in your own words. Pray it over your neighbors. Pray it over the City of Hutto. Spend the day replacing the word “earth” with “Hutto”. Pray that God's love, wrath, justice and mercy would be made known in our city.

With the brokenness around us in mind, spend some time in personal or family worship and sing or read through ‘Healer’.
