Men's & Women's Bible Study (Core Class: Christian Belief)
Every Monday starting September 16, 2024 until November 25, 2024
7:00pm – 8:30pm
Category: Community Coordinator: Trey DoveWhat does it mean to be "Christian"? In part, to be a Christian means to believe and order our lives around a certain set of convictions and beliefs revealed in God's Word.
Those beliefs are often referred to as "doctrines" - or in some cases we might say, "theology" (which can be a daunting words). But the goal of all Christian theology is to know God better, to worship God rightly, to love God more deeply, and to be shaped by God's grace as we behold Him.
Our theology matters because it shapes what we believe about God. It also matters because it influences who we become and how we live our lives.
And the startling truth is this: whether you believe it or not, YOU ARE A THEOLOGIAN! The question is, are a you a good one or a bad one? Beloved brother or sister, we want you to be a good one!
Join us for an 11-week study of Christian Belief: An Introduction into Christian Theology.
We'll be launching this second Core Class at HBC this Fall through our Men's and Women's Bible Study on Monday Nights.
The cost is $25 per person.
Childcare is available for those who need it.
The class will be taught by Pastor Trey Dove and Pastor Zach McLeod.
Men and women will be divided into gender specific discussion groups, and our time of teaching will be men and women together.
