How to Not Lose Heart

HOW NOT TO LOSE HEART

How to Not Lose Heart

READ:  2 Corinthians 4:1 to 5:10

  1. Read 2 Corinthians 4:1 to 5:10. Ask yourself the questions “what do I see?” and “what does it say?” regarding the Bible passage. Please be willing to share your observations with the group.

  1. The Apostle Paul warned of “tampering” with God’s Word. What do you see as the dangers of this practice? What practices or steps can you put into place to insure that: (a) you don’t “tamper” with God’s Word and (b) you recognize and avoid those who do?

  1. Have you reached your peak? We all have a peak physically and professionally. All of us have a spiritual peak as well. Would you be willing to discuss your “peaks” with the group? How can the principles and insights from Sunday’s message help you as you journey towards your spiritual peak?

  1. Have you encountered circumstances where you have been tempted to lose heart or actually have lost heart? If you have, you’re in good company since the Apostle Paul was tempted to lose heart as well. Would you be willing to share with the group those circumstances?

Please pause and pray for each other.

  1. Please review the principles and insights from Sunday’s message (the fill in the blank notes). If you have faced circumstances whereyou have been tempted to lose heart, how can those principles (#2-8) strengthen you as you walk through this valley? Would you be willing to share with other members of the group?

Please pause and pray for each other.

  1. From Sunday’s sermon, what did you find either most encouraging or most challenging?
